I have always loved nature. My career though was creating theatrical props for regional theaters and teaching others to do the same. I had a chance to work Off-Broadway in New York and regional theaters around the Maryland -DC area, Cleveland, Ohio and Brunswick and Portland Maine. But now that I have retired, I have time to create art generally using thread as my medium. I have also had a chance to travel by volunteering around the world. And so you will see some pieces from many different places.

I have always loved using my hands. I learned macrame when I was young and belts and purses eventurally led to landscapes of places I have been. In some ways I just began using smaller ‘string’ to create the thread drawings I now create.
